The National Federation of Coffee Growers is an organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for Colombian coffee farmers. This coffee has been decaffeinated by Swiss Water using a process that does not involve the use of any chemicals or solvents, ensuring that the coffee’s flavour remains unaltered. First, a green coffee extract (GCE) is produced, which contains all the soluble components of coffee except caffeine. When the coffee is immersed in this extract, the caffeine starts to transfer from the coffee beans to the GCE in search of balance.
