The Buenos Aires project brings together small producers from the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano. The project started with 25 producers with an average farm size below 5 hectares. These properties go from 1,300 to 1,700 masl. The main objectives of this project are to better market access and logistics, create a stronger community bond and improve knowledge on how to grow higher quality coffees. Most of the coffees grown are heirloom and bourbon varieties, along with some hybrid and exotic varieties.
