This coffee has been processed at Muchagara Station, part of the Baragwi Cooperative in Kirinyaga. Operating since 1959, it is the oldest processing station in the district. With over 1500 members, the factory has 200 drying tables, fermentation tanks, and grading channels. The cherries, grown at 1700-1800 meters above sea level, are processed using the traditional method with dry fermentation, then fully washed with fresh river water and sun-dried on raised beds.
