Gikanda FCS is located in Nyeri County, on the slopes of Mount Kenya, with mineral-rich soil and consistent rainfall, perfect for growing coffee . The Kangocho station implements sustainable practices, such as reusing water for parchment washing. Flowering occurs from June to August, and the harvest takes place from October to January. The ripe cherries are pulped and fermented for 12 hours, then washed and separated by density, and finally dried for about 14 days on drying tables.
