Farm Macarena, located in the village of Los Arados de Piendamó (Cauca), is a project that combines tradition, innovation, and a deep respect for the environment. Its 75 hectares produce a coffee that clearly expresses the richness of the Cauca terroir and the commitment of those who work this land.
La Farm part of the project led by Producer Benítez, a leading figure in Colombia thanks to his scientific approach and mastery of fermentation processes.
With more than 12 years of experience, Wilton has developed its own protocols inspired by oenology and other fermentation industries, applying them to coffee to enhance the natural attributes of each Variety losing its identity. La Macarena grows 26 varieties, such as Geisha, Sudan Rume, Wush Wush, Java, and SL28, distributed across plots with different microclimates and managed according to the genetic and sensory needs of each variety.
This coffee is grown on carefully designed terraces, supported by a microbiology laboratory and a processing plant equipped to achieve the highest possible precision. All of this is underpinned by a sustainable and regenerative agricultural model that protects the soil, water, and life of the community surrounding the Farm.
