The coffee from the Frinsa Estate in Java is processed by Wildan Mustofa and his wife, Atieq Mustikaningtyas, at their wet station located on the Frinsa Estate in West Java.
Wildan and Atieq launched their first coffee project in 2010 in the Sindangkerta region of Weninggalih, which later evolved into what is now known as Java Frinsa Estate. Their focus on quality sets them apart, as they opt for the Washed method rather than the typical wet-hulling method, even within Indonesia’s specialty coffee market.
Frinsa Estate is located in the Sunda region of West Java. Situated at an elevation of 1,400 meters above sea level, the Farm a wet mill, well-ventilated storage areas, and a dry mill, allowing them to maintain complete control over the process, from harvesting to sorting, packaging, and shipping.
Frinsa Estate also collaborates with the local coffee research center, growing lesser-known varieties in designated plots to explore their flavor profiles. In addition, they process coffee from local smallholders, organizing it by region of origin.
The Frinsa Estate coffee project has generated positive social and economic impacts in the community, as well as long-term sustainable benefits such as water conservation and efficient water use during production processes, and reforestation—planting trees to restore ecological balance and improve the natural environment.
The combination of its innovative approach, commitment to quality, and sustainability efforts makes Java Frinsa Estate a leader in the coffee market.
