We could not have chosen another one. Natural, unroasted pine nuts from Tierra de Pinares. First class, flawless. Castilla y León.
A pine (Pinus Pinea) takes between 20 and 30 years to produce pine nuts.
A pineapple takes 3 years to form, first as a marble or "chota", then as a small ball or "perindola" and finally it fattens and acquires its final size, with removable pine nuts.
In the third year, the pineapples are lowered, stored, opened to the sun and the shelled pine nuts are extracted and then processed in the factory.
