Near Tingkem, the group of farmers from the village of Bukit Sama grow their coffees in the rich and fertile volcanic loam soils, which are made up of sand, silt and clay. This type of soil combined with the climate of the area produces spicy full-bodied coffees. This project initiated by Radian and Aulia Kahfi educate farmers in tree management from planting to harvest, ensuring higher quality coffees. In the washing station, the cherries are selected before being pulped and fermented. Then coffee is dried in patios for 7-10 days.
