TASTING NOTES
Bergamot, stone fruits, panela. Citrus acidity and a delicate body.
Abebe Mulugeta works with coffees from several regions of Ethiopia: Yirgacheffe, Lekempti, Kaffa, Djimma, and Sidamo. With more than 15 years of experience, he has established himself in the coffee industry thanks to his commitment to fair and sustainable practices, working closely with coffee-growing communities and small-scale producers in the southeast and southwest of the country.
The Guji region, located in Oromiya in southern Ethiopia, shares historical roots with Sidamo, although over time it has come to be recognized as a distinct origin due to the distinctive character of its coffees: complex, fragrant, and with unique flavor profiles.
This lot has been processed using the washed (or wet) method, in which the fruit pulp is removed before drying. After controlled fermentation, the beans are carefully washed with water to remove the mucilage, resulting in a cleaner cup and highlighting the clarity and brightness of its notes.
