Unique Variety VRAE-99 Cacao grown by the Qori Warmi Cooperative in the Vraem region. The name Qori Warmi means 'women are worth gold' in Quechua.
The cooperative was born from the initiative of a group of women who decided to seek sustainable development in cacao production by focusing on controlled post-harvest processes to achieve high quality cocoa.
Variety VRAE-99 was created from a selection of the best native varieties. Combined with a strict post-harvest process, it results in a delicate and complex cacao , with notes of raspberry and macadamia nut.
