Fidel Huancas inherited La Esperanza from his father. He is a proud third-generation producer happy to preserve the family tradition, with the objective of producing the best coffees in the region and inspiring other producers to do the same. When he first took over the farm, the plants were a mixture of Catimor and Pache. Since then, he has replaced all of them with Caturra. His dedication to the training of his workers and his rigorous attention to detail is what has had the greatest impact on the quality of his coffees.
