Pours

  • @00:00 add 50 g of water, and stir the coffee.
  • @00:30 add the rest of the water to 240 g (total amount).
  • @1:00 put the wet paper filter in the cover and click it in the Aeropress.
  • @1:50 reverse your Aeropress and place it on top of a mug or jug, preheated.
  • Slowly press the plunger until 2:10 minutes

Biftu Gudina is a cooperative of more than 150 coffee farmers located in the district of Agaro, Jimma. Thanks to good management and the collaboration with Technoserve, an organization that helps them install eco-friendly and modern washing stations, it has become a reference for specialty coffee in Ethiopia. With the means the cooperative has made available to them, producers have managed to multiply the quality of their coffees, thus increasing their income and improving their living conditions.
