This cacao is produced by the Paquibato farmers' cooperative. The beans come from smallholders in the Davao region of Mindanao to a common processing center. This cacao profile won a Cocoa of Excellence in 2019 for its nutty notes accompanied by fruity hints.
The cacao is composed of a selection of five varieties of Trinitario that are fermented for 5 days and then dried in covered beds for another 6 days.
